Are you interested in being a published author?

This is your opportunity to pitch your story idea (fiction or non-fiction) to Hawkeye Publishing.

Carolyn Martinez, Director and Managing Editor of Hawkeye Publishing, a Brisbane-based independent publisher, will be online via our established link at the glorious Keppel bay Sailing Club, Yeppoon.
You will have 10 minutes to pitch your story. At the end of the pitch, Carolyn will let you know if she'd like you to send a submission to Hawkeye for further consideration. Hawkeye accept all genres except poetry and short story collections.

Book your preferred 10 minute time slot and start preparing your pitch!

Suggested Pitch Format:
  1. Title, genre, word count
  2. Elevator pitch
  3. Writer’s bio
  4. Synopsis
  5. Why you and your book would be an excellent signing for Hawkeye
  6. Aim to leave 1 - 2 minutes for Carolyn to ask questions.
